Acer Aspire Netbook With 3G Modem: Access Internet Anywhere Anytime

Technology never fails to amaze me these days. Just several years ago, who would have thought about taking a netbook with them to a hunt in the forest and surfing the Internet right from their hunting lodge. Today this doesn’t seem fantastic at all, you can just buy a netbook with a 3G modem and get online from even the most remote places no matter where you. As long as the area is covered with cellular network, you don’t have to carry a huge backpack filled with radio-electronics to be able to stay connected with the world.

If you’re in the market for a netbook with built-in 3G access, RadioShack Corporation is offering the Acer Aspire One netbook that comes with an integrated 3G modem. It is a special version of the Acer Aspire One designed to fulfill growing needs of people who need to stay connected wherever they travel to. It will give the facility of mobile access to the Internet, and comes with ultra energy efficient Intel Atom processor, a 3-cell Li-ion Battery that provides for 3 hours of run time, and only weighs 2.43 lbs. (1.1 kg).

Get Acer Aspire One for only $99 at Radioshack

If you’re in a market for a netbook with 3G connectivity, don’t wait until Xmas for an excellent deal to emerge. RadioShack has announced that for one week, starting December 14-th, they will be selling ultra-thin 8.9-inch Acer Aspire One netbooks for an incredible price of only $99! Originally priced at $398.95, Acer Aspire One comes with a 1.6GHz N270 Intel Atom Processor, 160GB 2.5″ Hitachi hard drive, 1GB of RAM, a LED-backlit display, a card reader, and Windows XP.

There’s one think that you should be aware of though, the netbooks will be sold subsidized with a two-year AT&T data contract. So if you need a netbook with a 3G data plan, this would be an excellent deal, otherwise committing to $60/month service with AT&T does not sound as such a bargain at all.

Acer presents Aspire One netbook with WiMAX

Acer have introduced its new line of ultra-compact stylish Atom-based netbooks equipped with WiMAX technology at the Computex 2008, the Acer Aspire One.

The netbook has a 8.9-inch LED-backlight display with a resolution of 1,024×600 pixels and comes with a 80GB Hard Disk Drive and 1 GB of RAM. With a battery life of more than 3 hours and the weight of below 1 kg, the Acer Aspire is definitely a laptop you should consider getting if you’re looking for an ultra-portable machine.

Acer Ferrari 1100 Laptop
