Medion introduce Akoya Mini E1210 in UK

Formally released Medion its entry into the cheap computer arena, small, stylish: that based on MSI Wind Akoya Mini E1210. The 10-inch smart Akoya sports, displays driven 1024 x 600 by the mini laptop’s chipset-integrated Intel GMA 950 graphics core. Intel also supplies the CPU: the Atom N270 standard 1.6GHz. It’s backed up to 1GB of DDR2 memory and an HD is 80GB.
Include to that the memory card reader, trio of USB ports, VGA output, Ethernet connector, and audio sockets, and you have what seems a fundamental Wind spec. however, while the Wind has Bluetooth, the Akoya does not, but the incorporates machine Medion 802.11n Wi-Fi – Wind comes with 802.11b/g.
Here no option for Linux: the Akoya Mini E1210 has Windows XP Home pre-installed, along with Corel WordPerfect Office X3. This week, released MSI it was revamping its Wind SSC with a huge space of storage capacity. It also released a model with a smaller, 8.9-inchs screen. Its suggested cost will be a£280.
