The Apple MacBook Pro MC374LL/A 13.3-Inch Laptop is carved in a single aluminum block. Thus MacBook Pro stands out in the crowd as a real engineering achievement. The unibody enclosure is really unique and patented. It takes pride in precision of engineering and machining. And this gets better with the latest green computing architecture which revolves around the principles of energy-efficiency. That’s how you get outstandingly longer battery life!

Once you charge the battery, this new wondrous 13-in MacBook Pro will run up to 10 hours. Users enjoy around 1000 full charge-discharge cycles, which happens to be just about 3 times the standard lifespan of most notebook batteries. Also, MacBook Pro brings you numerous options with high-performance graphics. Users get to enjoy the whole new GeForce 320M built-in graphics processor.

It’s as much as 80% faster compared to the earlier models and is much more energy-efficient. Writing emails or net surfing is thus easier than before. All MacBooks Pro, and this one is not an exception, come with LED-backlit displays featuring wide-angle views and excellent color gamut. This is rare with laptops of other manufacturers and is generally seen solely with desktop displays. For those who want to watch or make documentary movies this laptop’s screen is perfect as a canvas. Most users love its ultra-thin, flawless glass enclosure, which makes the computer’s display strong and durable.

And since it has power efficiency and doesn’t involve an harmful mercury or arsenic, the display has earned high green ratings. The 13-In MacBook Pro comes with high-end performance of Intel Core 2 Duo processors. Storage gets better with the large capacity hard drive, which offers a 320-Gigabyte storage capacity. This means, you’re not likely to feel any lack of room for photo libraries, comprehensive video projects or files. MacBook Pros is bestowed with Mac OS X v10.6 Snow Leopard Operating System as well as iLife.

You know how frustrating it can be when a fully charged laptop battery that should supposedly last you over 3 hours, quietly dies after one hour of operation leaving you with work undone, movie unwatched, email unsent or Skype call unfinished. Running out of battery life when you’re on the go can certainly ruin your day and if you’ve already been in such situation, you’ll certainly want to avoid it in the future.

This is where a program like Battery Eater comes handy. It is a benchmarking tool for your laptop’s battery that tests your battery’s performance; estimates the minimum working time of a laptop, given all power saving options are turned off. The software is 100% free and the size of a download is less than 800 kb, so there’s no reason you shouldn’t try it ASAP.

Download and install the Battery Eater, and click on the “Begin test when disconnecting AC” option in the main window. Then, make sure the battery is fully charged and unplug the AC adapter to begin the test. The program will run CPU and GPU-intensive tasks until the battery of your laptop runs out which will give you an idea how many hours of operation you can expect from a laptop with a fully-charged battery. There are less intense tests as well, when the laptop is tested in “Reader mode” and “Idle mode” (these can be activated on the “Options” page). Upon completion, the program will generate a Discharge report and a log file that you can view and analyze.

In some cases the information you get may have an awakening effect on you, so much the discrepancy between the producer’s announced battery life and the real values will be. Hopefully, knowing the accurate information about your battery’s potential will motivate you to charge it more often and help prevent loss of any important data.

The Asus Eee PC 1015PX is an inexpensive 10.1-inch black netbook that brings you lots of things in one small single package. Just like other Eee PC series netbooks by Asus, this one can easily deliver what one may expect from an ultra-portable laptop.

The Asus Eee PC 1015PX has exceptional wireless connectivity that goes in line with well-organized on-the-go functionality and performance. This machine brings you as much as 160 times higher transfer speeds than Bluetooth v2.1, which becomes possible with Bluetooth v3.0. You can now transfer data seamlessly and wirelessly to any smartphones or other devices which are Bluetooth-enabled. It operates within 6-9 GHz range as opposed to the traditional 2.4 GHz range, preventing interference from different types of wireless networks or other devices which make use of 2.4 Gigahertz range.

Thanks to the Super Hybrid Engine technology developed by Asus, the battery life can be about 50% longer than on usual netbooks, which results in unbelievable 13-hour running time. Just what a traveler looks for!

This gets better with the high performing Intel Atom N570 processor. The Asus Eee PC 1015PX also takes pride in outstanding comfort features offered with the unique chiclet keyboard and multipoint touchpad. The generous 250 Gigabyte hard drive goes in line with the 500 Gigabyte of ASUS WebStorage2. This means you can store, share or access all your vital data anytime and anywhere.

On the downside customers felt that screen rotation should not be manual and occasionally touchpad and touchscreen operation was poor.

It’s not a new computer – it’s sold under different names all around the world – but it’s available at a disturbingly low price. It launched at what was promoted as a bargain $299. Prices have since been cut to $150, mostly due to the fact that they’re having some trouble selling the computers. The problem is that there isn’t a lot off processing power in there. It’s not a great piece of equipment, but for $150 it’s a great deal.

The RazorBook 400 laptop weighs less than 2 pounds and comes with a 7″ LCD TFT display with an impressive keyboard. It’s ideal for travelers and students (not great for business folks, honestly) as it allows for instant messaging, light internet usage, flash games, and online shopping. You can also play movies and music.

The battery life is impressive because there isn’t much power being sucked up, of course. The laptop supports mobile broadband internet and can handle most of what the web offers these days. Any simple tasks in the typical Office programs can be handled with ease. A variety of applications are included along with the Firefox browser. The insane bargain price is the reason to consider this computer if you want something bigger than a phone and cheaper than a tablet. Bargain shoppers should turn up for the deal of a lifetime.

Here are the tech specs of RazorBook 400:

400MHz MIPS based CPU

7-inch display (800 x 480)

128 MB RAM

1 GB SSD drive

Linux or Windows CE operating system

Weight: 907 gr
