During our recent purchase of a Eee-Box, the mini PC Asus of which we’ll show you in these days un-boxing and review, we did four chat with the employees PC a couple of shops Euronics.

Hanbit unveiled Pepper Pad 3 – a handheld computer
At Computex 2008 Hanbit Electronics unveiled its new Intel Atom based handheld web computer, the Pepper Pad 3. Like its predecessor, the Pepper Pad 3 runs on Linux Operating System and can be used to do a variety of tasks, just about everything that a regular computer is capable of: surfing the web, listening to music or watching videos, making voice over IP phone calls. Being under an inch thick, the device has a 7-inch 800 x 480 pixel WVGA LCD touch-screen that can be easily navigated with the stylus.

Everex CloudBook: a 7-inch sub-notebook with VIA C7-M processor
During the Computex Taipei 2008, Everex introduced its new 7-inch ultra-portable sub-notebook powered by a VIA C7-M 1.6GHz processor, the CloudBook. Haier Unveils 81004 Netbook
A new Intel Atom-based netbook computer, the Haier 81004, was presented on Computex Taipei 2008.
