Its time to a Blu-ray so, HP Pavilion also launched its new dv5-1011ea 15.4-inchs Blu-ray Notebook, its features and its sumptuous design. An all-rounder multimedia, the dv5 1001ea marks our 1st look at HP-esque parts are still present, like the faintly curved polished black lid and the design is silver imprint, through here it’s a rather more undemanding criss-cross outline as opposed to the elaborate swirls of earlier models, like the dv2699 Special Edition and dv6750ea. This is fixed by a wonderfully backlit HP logo nestled in the corner, and manages effect to be striking but not too flashy and garish.

Where the changes most marked have taken place. The whole thing is just lighter and roomier; with a keyboard is metallic sliver and chrome come silver colored surround replacing the metallic grey and black of previous machines. Above the keyboard sit the normal set of touch sensitive power, this time set behind an ice-covered glass-like result that looks very good indeed.

Here HP has selected to stretch a sheet of defensive glass over the bezel and display right to the edges, efficiently creating a seamlessly plane screen area with the integrated web-cam set behind it. It’s an extremely effective visual machine that neatly demoted the typically hideous bezel to the periphery and it’s something we can simply see other companies using.

As well as it also updated is the huge HP Pavilion HDX 20 inch display notebook that will now take the influential Nvidia 8800M GTS video card. This convertible has similar basic design as its predecessor, and then now it offers a dynamic pen input monitor (Wacom) that is much enhanced on the older tx1000 that just had a feel sensitive screen.

The one most important knock against it was that the advance graphic card, an ATI HD2600, just did not seem to do the HDX integrity for its dimension. The company has remedied this trouble by now present the Nvidia GeForce 8800M GTS and also in optional 512MB graphic card. Its will give the GTX desktop quality and superiority performance. There also include 3 x USB ports, Notebook Expansion port 3, and 802.11a/b/g/n with Bluetooth, LightScribe Super Multi or Super Multi 8X DVD+/-R/RW, Integrated 10/100/1000 Ethernet.
