If you’re in the market for a laptop backpack then you should consider the Booq line. Most popular is the Booq Boa (all their products are named after snakes). The Boa Flow in particular is their best seller. It costs just under $200 and can carry a laptop as big as 15.5″ (there’s also XL model for 17-inch laptops). The backpack weighs 4.5 lbs and is made from ballistic nylon with water-repellant coating to protect your laptop from all but the most torrential of rains. The zippers are never going to break, there’s an HD foam compartment inside meant to protect your computer from damage, and there are side pockets to hold your phone, iPod, water bottle, etc. There’s also a 5 year warranty that insures you against product failure. When you pay this much for something you want to know you’re protected.

With the growing popularity of tablet computers, smart phones, and compact laptops there’s a greater need for mobile projectors. A handful of years ago this technology was a little behind what people were looking for but now we’re at a place where you have dozens of options for mobile projectors and can easily make a presentation at work from your iPhone, which is pretty amazing if you think about it.

The 3M MP225 Mobile Projector is made for Apple products and hooks right into your iPad or iPhone to display your screen for all to see. It’s a small device that costs around $300 and requires only one cord to work. The controls are simple so it takes literally seconds to get your presentation running. There’s nothing complicated or annoying about any of it.

If you want something seriously high end you can spend more than $2000 on a Sony Mobile Projector. They’re generally wireless and they work really well, but that one is probably going on the corporate spending account or it’s not getting purchased at all.

The Dell M110 mobile projector costs $500 and is small enough to nearly fit in the palm of your hand. It creates vibrant images and can be used wirelessly or with an HDMI cable. Panasonic makes an array of mobile projectors that also offer crystal clear images and work wirelessly. Basically, every major manufacturer is now in the mobile projector business so it’s pretty easy to find what you’re looking for.

We hope you had great holidays and will do our best to provide all the information you need to make smart laptop and laptop accessory purchases in 2012. If you have a Mac then you’ve no doubt spent a lot of money on it. That also means you probably want to protect it and there’s no better way to do that than with a stylish case. It’s made in the same sleek style that Mac is known for and it looks fantastic so it can be a computer accessory and a personal accessory.

The MacTruck laptop case is produced by RadTech and made from aluminum alloy to be both tough and lightweight. It is sleek yet sturdy and it can take a beating. The fit inside is snug enough that if you happen to drop the case (God forbid!) the laptop won’t be jostled much and your data is likely to be protected (try not to drop your laptop though). It looks great and it works exceptionally well to handle your Mac. It serves all purposes and serves them well, it is even possible to operate your MacBook right in the case, thanks to air channels under the bottom case that help keep your laptop cool. An exciting thing is that all the ports and drives will remain fully accessible. The price of MacTruck may seem a bit on the higher side (the 15-inch version is currently sold for $192 at Amazon) but aren’t all the good things in life not cheap?

Walking on a treadmill is terribly boring. Everyone knows that. That's probably why most of you aren't interested in walking on a treadmill. He knows that guys and girls that love their computers tend to not love getting on the treadmill, but he believes that if you can have your laptop with you, this may change your attitude towards physical exercises.
Walking on a treadmill is terribly boring. Everyone knows that. That’s probably why most of you aren’t interested in walking on a treadmill. Neuroscientist Bill Softky has come up with a solution for your problem. He knows that guys and girls that love their computers tend to not love getting on the treadmill, but he believes that if you can have your laptop with you, this may change your attitude towards physical exercises. That’s why he designed what he calls the CardioDesk. It’s still in the prototype stage but it’s designed to fit most treadmills and it creates a handy surface that you can place your laptop on while you do your workout.

The CardioDesk folds up to about the size of a book, a one inch thick book. It could easily fit into your laptop bag for easy carrying and the surface allows for your laptop to rest comfortably without worry about it slipping off due to jostling. Obviously it would be a disaster to destroy your computer when you’re trying to get some exercise. Bill is currently running a Kickstarter campaign to raise money to turn this into a widespread product and it seems like an ideal solution. There are currently ways to prop your laptop on a treadmill for exercise but they’re almost all exceptionally expensive or highly involved. This is simple and that’s the beauty of it.

There are numerous studies that prove that walking is one of the best things you can do for the health of your heart. It’s not going to get you into great shape, but it can prolong your life, which is a good thing. If you work all day sitting down you’re shortening your life, too. If you get the blood flowing with some good walking then you’ll be much healthier. That’s why the CardioDesk for your laptop is so smart.

The Sling Bag is built for notebooks up to 15.4″ and it looks like a backpack. It’s ideal for students and the major benefit is that you can wear it like a backpack and save yourself the aches of having your laptop dragging down one side of your body. If you have a bigger laptop then try the Messenger Bag. It’s meant for laptops up to 17″ and has lots of space for all your accessories. It’s not quite as convenient as the backpack model but it still gets the job done well.

Take the Razer Boomslang Gaming Mouse for example. It features an 1800 DPI 3D infrared tracking model, 5 programmable buttons, a gold-plated USB connector (utterly silly but awesome nonetheless), and 32KB of onboard memory to save your profiles (you can change the button functions for each game and use the onboard memory to save a profile for each game).

It also needs to be said that the original Razer Boomslang ball mouse was launched in 1998 and became pretty much legendary. As of now the Collector’s Edition 2007 mouse is sold at Amazon for as much as $1,259.

Whatever laptop you’ve decided to invest in, there are a few basic accessories which you probably won’t want to be without. Here’s just a quick guide to some of the essential must-have items…

⋄ Laptop Bag
This is almost certainly one of the first accessories that you’ll want to purchase, especially if you plan take your laptop with you when you’re on the move. Not only will a good laptop bag protect you laptop from becoming damaged, but it can also offer a convenient way to transport you cable charger, and any other accessories which you may choose to invest in.

⋄ Cleaning Cloths
If you want to keep your laptop looking as good as the day you bought it, then you’ll want to invest in a few specially design computer cleaning cloths. The fact that WiFi is now much more widely accessible means that laptop owners can access sites such as hotmail, Youtube, Facebook or o2.co.uk from a variety of locations in a daily basis. However, this greatly increases the risk of getting food, drinks or even just sticky fingers all over your laptop – for which cleaning cloths are the only solution.

⋄ USB Mouse
Whilst some people manage to use touch-sensitive laptop controls just fine, they can certainly take some getting used to, and for most people they can be something of an inconvenience. If you’re using your laptop on a regular basis, then it can be a good idea to invest in a USB mouse, which offers a quick and easy way to improve your laptop experience.

⋄ Headphones
As much of the appeal in owning your own laptop lies in the fact that it is a portable computer, you are more than likely to end up using it within a public space. If you need to hear sounds played from your laptop system, or even just enjoy listening to music while you work, then avoid annoying other nearby and invest in some good quality headphones.

This new multi-functional laptop stand was presented in August 2001. Besides actually an aluminum stand, this device also features two silent 100 mm fans that facilitate batter air flow around your laptop and help prevent its overheating, and a 3-port USB hub. One interesting touch is that it’s possible to adjust the position of fans the way you like it so you can align them to the hottest components of your laptop for better cooling. Thanks to adjustable anti-slip holders, the stand is compatible with laptops ranging in size from 9 to 17 inches, keeping them in place tightly in any of 5 available height levels.

Overall, Cooler Master has really hit the nail with their latest laptop stand and we can recommend Notepal U to all laptop users who are looking for more comfort while working on their computers.

I went to the local computer shop not far from my place to see what they had, but the ones they had in stock were a bit pricey and dull looking, while I wanted a USB drive that would not only serve its purpose, but also look funny and attractive. So I decided to go get a new one at Ebay. To my pleasure, the prices for USB flash drives were definitely lower there and the variety of designs they had was simply astonishing. Here are the USB flash drives that I and my wife thought to be the most cute and funny.
