The Samsung’s red laptop: R480

The Samsung R480 sure sounds like a lot of things in one package! It is a mainstream laptop that however not only looks stylish, but also has really outstanding features. It’s possible to install up to 4 GB memory that is pretty decent for a laptop of that size. You’re not likely to see storage shortages as the 320 GB HDD is there to store whatever you want. The 6-cell lithium-ion battery is solid enough to keep you going when you’re not connected to the AC. The 60W adapter is there to make it a smooth play.

Fujitsu Lifebook to become keyless

The concept of an on-screen keyboard isn’t something new, it has been implemented long ago in tablet PCs and other touchscreen-enabled gadgets (iPad, iPhone and Acer Iconia, to name a few). Looks like Fujitsu is now also going to catch up with this trend and launch a new keyless Lifebook laptop designed by Laura Lahti for the “FUJITSU design award: a life with future computing” competition.
This on-screen keyboard will allow for rearranging the “keys” in the way you like it, adjusting the position of the trackpad, customizing colors and writing in different languages. The designer claims the virtual keyboard will not cause as much wrist pain as traditional keyboards since it is not necessary to click on letters anymore, you can just drag your fingers from letter to letter. This is something that you do not see often in other touch screen gadgets and I’m really anxious to try this keyless laptop once Fujitsu launches it.
