Toshiba Portege R500: ultra portable notebook

Toshiba has recently presented the new ultralight laptop, the Portege R500.

Weighing only 1.72 pounds, this laptop has an elegant design as well with a chassis made from magnesium alloy. The transflective LED-backlit display of this laptops allows for working both indoors and outdoors. You can even use this laptop under direct sunlight, as the natural light reflects within the display to bring colors to life.

Its thickness measures only 0.8 inches, and given that there’s even a DVD rive in this laptop. There’s an Intel Core 2 Duo U7700 1.33 GHz processor inside this machine and 2 GB DDR2 RAM. The hard disk is a fast 128 GB solid state drive from Toshiba that ensures your laptop will boot and load all your applications in a record time. The Toshiba Portege R500 also has a gigabit ethernet, 2.0 Bluetooth, wi-fi, fingerprint reader and a card reader. This laptop will keep you more mobile than ever before.
