Let me introduce VAIO VGN-TX3XP, the latest Sony’s portable notebook from the TX series.

The chassis of this netbook is made from carbon fiber, a material used in aero industry and Formula 1 cars, that allows this machine to weigh only 1.25 kilograms without sacrificing the build quality. The screen used in this netbook is 11.1-inch LED-backlit display with X-Black high contrast coating and a very impressive native resolution of 1366×768 pixels.
The Sony VAIO VGN-TX3XP has a single ultra-low voltage Intel Core Solo processor running at 1.2GHz with 1GB of RAM. Although it would be possible for Sony to install a higher performance Core 2 Duo processor on this netbook, this would inevitably result in poorer battery life which equals to whopping 7 hours.
Here are the features and specifications of the VAIO VGN-TX3XP netbook:
- 1.2 GHz Intel Core Solo CPU
- 1 Gb RAM
- Intel 945GMS with up to 128 Gb shared system memory
- 80 GB hard disk
- DVD-writer
- 802.11 a/b/g wireless LAN
- Bluetooth
- Firewire port
- Microsoft Windows XP Pro
