Sony introduces new VAIO CR Series laptops
Sony Corporation has finally introduced a new family of slim and lightweight fashionable 14.1-inch laptops aimed at younger users, the VAIO CR series. The VAIO CR is not only made to look nice and attractive on the outside, but also has high performing hardware components inside. It is built on a Santa Rosa platform and utilizes the newest Intel Core 2 Duo processors with frequencies up to 2.4GHz that provide more than enough performance for typical tasks, such as watching videos or photos. VAIO CR can be configured online, at Sony’s website, in 5 different colors. Users can also pick a processor ranging from T7100 1.8GHz up to the T7700 2.4GHz and install up to 4GB RAM. The native resolution of a WXGA screen is 1,280×800 pixels and the picture quality it delivers is truly great. The color reproduction and contrast is excellent which makes watching movies a really exciting experience. Combined with a solid set of features, such as 802.11a/b/g/n wifi, a selection of ports and decent battery life, that makes the new Sony VAIO CR a great choice for college students and young professionals.
