Lenovo has recently released a replacement to its V100 model, a Core 2 Duo based ultra-portable 12.1-inch laptop, the Lenovo V200.

This model became one of the first netbooks that is built on a Santa Rosa platform, so despite its compact size you’re getting a very powerful machine. Add to that a built-in DVD drive (which can rarely be found on compact laptops), a webcam, a fingerprint reader and an ExpressCard slot, and the V200 becomes a very attractive solution for mobile users.
Lenovo V200 has the following specifications:
- 2.0GHz Intel Core 2 Duo T7300 CPU
- Intel Graphics Media Accelerator X3100
- 2GB RAM (2 modules)
- 160GB 5400rpm SATA hard disk
- Fingerprint reader
- Bluetooth 2.0 + EDR
- Intel Wireless a/g/n wifi
- 12.1-inch glossy wide screen (1280×800)
- Windows Vista Business
