Lenovo ThinkPad R61

The Lenovo ThinkPad R61 is trim, slim laptop aimed at the for business crowd. It comes with great features like a fingerprint reader to give you extra security and a keyboard that lights up for those hunt and peck sessions in the dark (or if you just want to see those keys you never really hit). It’s 14.1″ wide and comes in at just 5.8 pounds. The keyboard has a touch pad and an eraser head nub, which is key for more precise mouse browsing (it’s still not as easy as a mouse, of course, but it’ll do).

The laptop comes with a dual layer DVD drive, a battery with more lasting power than is typical, and dedicated backwards and forwards keys for browsing the internet (another nod to the sometimes frustrating experience of browsing the web with a laptop touchpad). The laptop is fairly powerful too. It comes with a 2.2GHz Core 2 Duo T7500 processor, 1GB of ram (expandable to 4GB), three USB ports, a mini-FireWire port, PC Card and ExpressCard slots, and more.
