Upcoming Dell XPS1330 Inspiron 1420, 1520, 1720 laptops

It has recently been announced by Dell that a new addition to their range of XPS and Inspiron laptop series is on the way. Dell XPS M1330 and Inspiron 1420, 1520 and 1720 laptops are expected to be launched within the next several weeks. On a Dells’ blog it was officially confirmed that Dell Inspiron and ultra portable Dell XPS M1330 laptops built on Santa Rosa platform will start shipping before the end of the period.

Let us take a closer look at the specs that these laptops are expected to have:

• Dell Inspiron 1720A
  A 17-inch Intel Santa Rosa based laptop with wide screen and multi-color lids. The Inspiron 1720 laptop replaces Inspiron e1705 and has a 2.2GHz Intel Santa Rosa CPU, Nvidia 8600m GT graphics card, 2 HDDs with software RAID capability, 4 USB 2.0 ports, 8-in-1 media card reader, built-in 2.0 megapixel webcam, FireWire port, wi-fi s-Video out and BlueTooth.
• Dell Inspiron 1520
  A 15.4-inch Intel Santa Rosa laptop. The Inspiron e1505 and has the same configuration as Insporon 1720A except for the smaller screen size.
• Dell Inspiron 1420
  A 14.1-inch widescreen Intel Santa Rosa powered laptop. The Inspiron 1420 will have Nvidia 8400m graphics card and also, like the models with bigger screens, WWAN adapter, 4 USB 2.0 ports, FireWire port and 2.0MP webcam.
