Dell Latitude D630 LaptopThe Dell Latitude D630 is a successor of a previous D620 model that has a new Intel Core 2 Duo processor and offers more customization options. It is a full-featured machine that has all needed features and connectivity one may anticipate from a mainstream laptop. The laptop has a slim “road ready” case made of magnesium alloy which makes it really light and, at the same time sturdy. The display size is fair 14.1 inches, however its native resolution of 1,440×900 pixels makes default fonts and icons look rather small.

Even though there’s no TV-out, the laptop has 4 high-speed USB ports, mini-firewire port, a fingerprint reader and a smartcard reader which should suit all basic needs of corporate users. The Dell Latitude D630 comes with new Windows Vista OS installed. Here’s a short overview of technical specifications of the Latitude D630.

  • Intel Core 2 Duo T7300 CPU at 2.0GHz
  • 2GB RAM
  • 120GB hard disk drive
  • Integrated Mobile Intel GMA X3100 graphics card
  • 802.11 b/g Wi-Fi
  • 4.5 hrs run time on a 9-cell battery
