Acer presents Aspire One netbook with WiMAX
Acer have introduced its new line of ultra-compact stylish Atom-based netbooks equipped with WiMAX technology at the Computex 2008, the Acer Aspire One.

The netbook has a 8.9-inch LED-backlight display with a resolution of 1,024×600 pixels and comes with a 80GB Hard Disk Drive and 1 GB of RAM. The Aspire One netbooks are available in 4 different colors that you can choose from: pink, white, blue and brown. It is also possible to choose the operating system to be installed on a netbook: Windows XP or Linux.
Thanks to the WiMAX support, the possibilities to connect to the Internet with Aspire One become truly endless: you can play your favorite online games, connect to social networks and make VoIP phone calls from locations where wi-fi networks are not available. With a battery life of more than 3 hours and the weight of below 1 kg, the Acer Aspire is definitely a laptop you should consider getting if you’re looking for an ultra-portable machine.
