G.E. Healthcare C.E.O. Omar Ishrak is seen holding a new laptop-sized ultrasound at the company’s office in Wauwatosa, Wis.
One cannot deny the fact that geeks love the sleek look of Computer, notebooks or laptops. In the same tune, doctors also admire their tools and welcome the laptop-sized ultrasound machines.
Being compact and due to its precise image quality, doctors have begun carrying the body-imaging technology to rural U.S. hospitals and developing countries.
With this advancement, ultrasound would no longer be restricted to hospitals with reliable power supplies and room for bulky equipment.
