Dell’s previous 27” screen, the 2707WFP, was designed as a bigger version of the 24” alternative – and it featured the unchanged resolution of 1,920×1, 200, a bigger monitor, and hence larger dot pitch — meaning things were simply a little bit larger, a benefit for those with diminishing image. The Dell 2709W follows the same style, with a some new features to boot.
Looking a little more like its 30” counterpart, it has 2 DVI ports HDMi, Display Port, and apparently even manifold 3.5mm jacks for surround sound pass-through over HDMI. All in all it powerful sounds like the reviewers felt this is one to keep an eye out for.
The good thing is mass of video inputs; new menu system is leagues in front of the 07 and 08 series, audio output from HDMI and great blacks.
