WD My Book World Edition: Network hard disk 2 TB connected to the router

Western Digital has just presented the new WD My Book World Edition external hard disk designed for constant backup of multiple PCs connected to a home network. The home network connected to a router (wireless or wired), in fact, are increasingly widespread and PC in our homes are often more than one. Why WD has designed an external hard disk 1 or 2 TB, which simplifies the backup process by requiring only connection to the router and setup of certain parameters in the options.
