Although mainly known for its no-frills, not expensive notebooks, Acer’s crown gemstone Ferrari line of portables has for all time turned heads. The laptop Ferrari 1100 is the first 12” Ferrari to include an integrated optical drive. While we affection the speedy performance and active, design is sophisticated, we wish it had a small more endurance.
Unlike Acer’s series, whose beige dated color format is supposed to resemble the inside of a BMW, the Acer Ferrari 1100 feels and looks as sleek as its namesake. The cover has a fine gray and black racing check model with Ferrari’s tiny yellow insignia stamped in the middle. Otherwise, the chassis carbon fiber is matte black with shiny gray accents, a part for glossy bezel and part above the notebook keyboard, which houses start points for outlook 2007, Acer’s launch manager, and Internet Explorer, and weight its only 4.4 pounds.

The user very ease for intermittent typing in this keyboard, the notebook 1100 has 3 USP port, S-video, VGA, mic phone, headphone, and FireWire; Ethernet and modem jacks; and memory card reader is 5in1 quality packed. It also has a 1.3MP web cam and 8X DVD burner which delivered mediocre brightness and color but excellent detail considering its VGA resolution.
